Hobi Nayra dan baby2 seusianya sekarang...kadang tgk terhibur, kadang kelakar kadang nak jadi "hulk" pun ada...layan photos.....

Sedang mengemaskini stok stokin2nya..lepas tu puas mama dia nk cari balik pasangan2 socks yg dah berterabur tu
Dengan muka tak bersalahnya...agaknya dalam hati dia kata "Mama, i just want to help you clear up the shelf" hmmm yeah Nayra...go for it! Babies learn a lot while making lots of messes aren't they?

Ni tak dapat kaki lagi..kalau dah pandai berlari nanti tak tau la

Kenangan Ramadhan 2010

Macam biasa la..udah lama tak update blog, nasib baik blog tak bersawang..kalau tak jenuh nak tepis sawang2 tu haha..

This year's Ramadhan is so special. Ada ahli baru dalam keluarga yang tolong menggamatkan suasana..exactly like what i had envisioned while she was still in the womb

Kalau dulu..berbuka puasa dgn suasana yg sangat tenang, tahun ni jenuh dok melayan tuan puteri tu. Selalunya dekat2 nak berbuka tu, dah siap2 bawak dia ke meja makan, letak dia kat highchair then suap dia makan. So sambil buka puasa tu sambil suap dinner dia, and kalau dah abis bagi dia biskut baby pulak kasik dia makan sendiri so that tak kacau mama nak menikmati makanan

haaa..macam ni la dia kalau time nak berbuka, makanan kena kasik jauh sikit, see how she looked at the food? Tangan tu dah siap nak terkam ajer..oh ya my family usually have our meals at our kopitiam table in the kitchen je..senang & ringkas! Malas nak pakai proper dining table at the dining room..it is usually saved for guests
Berbuka puasa kat Merah..kalau org TTDI Jaya tau la Merah ni kat mana..food sedap tapi mahal berdentum, ni makan ramai2 (my family & siblings), kos dia macam makan kat hotel **gulp**
Nampak tak objek belang2 pakai topi kat belakang tu? Dia sorang ajer tak puasa..huhu tak alu!

Ni pulak berbuka puasa kat Hotel Uitm Shah Alam, memang agenda (and lokasi) wajib setiap tahun for me & my families. Sangat berbaloi dgn harganya..not so expensive compared to the hotel yg berbintang2 tu..food wpun tak sebanyak kat hotel 5 star, tapi banyak jugak pilihan. Sesuai dgn kapasiti perut manusia hehe...this year harganya dah jadik RM39 per pax tapi students IPT dapat diskaun 10%. Among the memorable menus tis year is their signature Nasi Ulam, Nasi Briyani yg sangat melt in ur mouth, satay, roti jala menggiurkan dgn kuah durian, Asam Laksa, dessert Tiramisu yg sgt sedap etc etc..eh banyak lagi lah..

Ni saja nak tunjuk badan yg sedikit kurus during bulan puasa ni hehehe...bagi motivasi skit nak turunkan lagi (biasa la isu wajib org pompuan)...

That's it! Nayra..mama just wanna say thanks for cheering up everybody in our family with ur neverending issues ; )

Lunch @ Bubba Gump & Shrimp Co.

I read in an article in Harmoni about a new eatary in Sunway Pyramid offering hot new western menus with mouthwatering pictures of the menus as well, it really got stuck in my head....since Yas & me regularly go to TGI Friday's if we crave for westerns, we got tired of the same menus after the years. So when we came across the articles, the saliva kept on drooling for the delicious looking hot new place!

Last friday (July 29th) we gave it a try...and boy oh boy it was so worth it! Pada sesape teringin nk makan western food yang best beserta 'ambience' yang menarik..silalah try tempat ini di Sunway Pyramid!

Refreshing beverages...Yas chose a combination of mango juice, orange juice & lemonade while i settled for a lemonade with strawberries..
Menu: Bourbon Catch of the Day (fish or chicken). I chose chicken cos the fish of the day was Tallapia...i hate freshwater fish aside from keli goreng berlada and so that's how the chicken got served instead! It has yummy shrimps as sidekicks and on the sideline is mashed potatoes garnished with fries...last but not least, creamy cheese gravy poured on them. The only downside of it is it has no veggies...if only they serve this with freshly steamed broccolies/asparagus...yg hijau2 kat atas tu hiasan jer duhhh!!

Yas tried salmon..i gave it a passed cos it has rice. Bila makan western ni rasa cam tanak ada nasik hahaha..eksennnya! Well..this salmon offering has buttered rice and asparagus with carrots as its sideline. It tasted ok but if only they cook the salmon "well done" as i preferred. By the way this is the only menu that has salmon, so for salmon lovers..take this or leave it haha..

The ambience...rasa macam ada kat tepi pelabuhan bot2 nelayan di US, tapi sebenarnya tempat ni mengambil inspirasi daripada filem Forrest Gump. The whole place is decorated with momentoes from the film

2 orang kakitangan kerajaan yang sedang menikmati western food idaman...oh yeah lupa letak gambar desert, but you can clearly see it right in the middle...bread pudding with cinnamon, served with vanilla ice-cream on top & custard pudding around it, OMG so yummylicious...tapi sebab dah kenyang giler makan main meal, tak abis pun desert tu..luckily we ordered refreshing beverages to kill-off rasa muak tu...silalah try kalau teringin hehe

Celebrating boss's birthday

Friday..29th of July....my boss's birthday, usually i would forget but this year, after a meeting somebody brought out a cake for her and the rest of the people made an effort to sing her the birthday song...

Luckily i had my camera with me..so this year Pn. R...i wish you Happy Birthday & hope u are blessed Amin...p/s: please grant us more "Cuti Rehat" please!!!!

Dia demam lagi..

Dua tiga menjak ni kerap benar Nayra ni demam..aritu sebab Viral Infection, pastu selsema..lama jugak seminggu lebih, then selsema pun tak baik lagi, demam panas pulak..

Dulu dia jarang benar demam..takpe la..maybe ada skill baru nk dapat lagi kot..hmm cubaan untuk memujuk hati yang risau

Harini syamariz EL lagi jawabnya..bila dah ada anak ni baru tau nape dulu2 kengkawan yg ada anak selalu MC la, cuti la..rupanya gini, setahun pertama dalam hidup seorang bayi tu tidak pernah sunyi dari demam

Harap2 kalini sebab nak tumbuh gigi atau merangkak...

emmm..syamariz tak bawak pun nayra jumpa doc cos ubat demam, selsema, batuk etc memang dah ada spare kat umah, just kerap basahkan badan dia dgn air dan bagi dia banyak minum air/susu/jus...harap2 elok la...cepat sembuh ya baby mama sayanggg

Susu oh susu..

Syamariz memang ada problem dgn production susu badan since nayra's birth...BM (breast milk) cuma keluar hari ke-4, itu pun setelah diurut dan di stimulasikan menggunakan breastpump..tapi production memang sikit, ada la dalam 2 sudu besar kot..it's pathetic i know...jadinya nayra memang dah disuap dengan formula since hari pertama lagi..

Wpun production BM syamariz alahai sikit..tapi tak pernah mengalah ok..dapat jugak la 3 bulan wpun tak ekslusif, hari2 pam kat ofis sampai ofismate naik kesian tengok production dalam botol tu, dapat la dlm purata 2oz..cuba macam2 cara tapi tak jalan sampai akhirnya amik ubat doc, production boom 3-4oz tapi menjunam semula bila ubat dah abis..cukup 3 bulan nayra dah start muak bila BF (breastfeed) so syamariz stop pumping lelama susu kering sendiri..

As DEMC was using Frisolac brand at the time of nayra's birth, to make things easy, i just continued with the brand at home. Jadi nayra memang membesar dgn debabnya thanks to Frisolac. After a while, i got bored using the brand..actually i wanted to try Enfa brand because of the DHA factor..kandungan DHA dia memang jauh lebih tinggi dari Frisolac. At 8 months now, i think it is the right time to switch to other quality brand. Now i'm not saying that Frisolac is not quality, after all..my baby has no major problem when consuming it. Lebih kepada ingin mencuba sesuatu yang baru..

Nak tukar bcos nak try susu mahal, nak susu yang 4x kandungan DHA dan kurang lemak..Alhamdulillah, nayra has no problem tukar susu at 8 months. Syamariz dapati Enfapro A+ ni teksturnya lebih halus dan berdebu, tetapi tidak berbau macam Frisolac wpun susu dah terbiar lama, pasal rasa no komen sebab tak pernah rasa dua2 brand itu (eiii tak lalu heheh)..

Nayra now @ 8 months..

Last saturday, syamariz bawak baby nayra pegi DEMC for her 8th month injection. Woooo..DEMC has moved to a new building near to PKNS Shah Alam. Cantikkk, moden & selesa..tak payah lagi bersesak2 menunggu giliran dalam tempat yang sempit macam dulu..ye laa dulu dekat corner lot rumah kedai seksyen 9, sekarang dah ada bangunan sendiri..oh ya DEMC berpindah sejak akhir Jun 2010



So back to nayra's injection, actually kalau ikut jadual cucuk, last sekali 6 bulan then the next one adalah bila dia setahun, setahun 3 bulan and so on... In between, parents have options to give optional injections at 8, 10 & 13 months..the injection is for "Pneumococcal 1st, 2nd & booster dose", i can say that it is quite expensive compared to the scheduled ones



Cucuk kali ni macam biasa nayra tak meragam sangat..setakat ni dia tak pernah lagi la meraung atau menangis bila kena cucuk..setakat ekkk terkejut je, demam pun takde Alhamdulillah..doktor pulak macam biasa nayra jumpa favourite doc dia Dr Roliza (actually mama dia yg suka). Yang best kat DEMC baru ni, dia ada garden open air kat tengah2 klinik pakar tu..so sementara tunggu nombor boleh la bawak baby jalan2 amik fresh air sambil dia tengok budak2 lain main..tak tension sangat menunggu



Ok..my baby has now entering her 8th month of age, her progress/development now :-



- Weight : 9.55kg (kalini weight gain tak banyak macam dulu maybe bcos dah lasak)

-Length : 78 cm (doc kata dia kategori panjang)

-New skills: Duduk dengan stabil dah...kadang2 tu dia boleh bangun sendiri dari position baring dan terus duduk. Skil lain adalah kejar org dgn walker dia serta mengesot laju2..emmm tak banyak progress since her 7th month...i wonder bila dia nak tumbuh gigi

Nayra kena Viral Infection

Nayra dah start demam since last wednesday, badan dia panas on-off..bagi ubat demam PCM cos no signs of cough/flu...i thought the pearly whites will appear soon (nak tumbuh gigi la), but i got the shock of my life..

Bintat2 macam ni appear hari ke-3 lepas demam..i was worried sick!! Memula ingatkan gigitan nyamuk, tapi dia naik satu badan..mula2 bulatan kecil, lepas tu membesar, lepas tu bersambung2 macam corak peta dunia..lepas tu penuh satu badan..i felt sooooo sorry for Nayra

Ni masa baru2 appear kat badan..

Ni pulak dah naik abis satu badan termasuk muka...

I brought Nayra to paedetrician's clinic at Sek 7, Shah Alam (Klinik Paedetrik Adek, belakang DEMC) on friday. The doctor said it's because of a bacteria/virus infection from the air...my mind was busy recalling where on earth did she catch the virus at that time, was it at Kedah when we 'balik kpg' for a kenduri, or was it from my MIL hse in Tg Malim cos it was sooo hot & humid there...or was it from the nanny's hse...or our home even????? huhuhuhu...kesiannya Nayra...

But the doctor said no worries, the fever will drop once the 'bintat' appears the whole body..the concept is like chicken pox but it's not....oh well, he gave antibiotics (Augmentin), allergic medicine (Zyrtec) & Callamine Cream and said it will take around 48 hrs for it to fade away. Balik rumah ajer, satu badan dia dilumurkan dgn callamine lotion (i used lotion type yg kat rumah sebab yg cream payah nak sapu)

And as i'm writing this (sunday nite), the face area is clear by this afternoon...the body's marks is clearing too..but it will take some time cos the marks cover almost the whole body, i am hoping by tomorrow morning there will be little marks left cos she will be sent to her nanny's hse as i would start working huhu...oh how i wish i could take as many days off as i would like, just to be with her especially when she's not well

Alhamdulillah...Nayra nampak macam on her way to recovery, syukur takde apa2 yg buruk..tak sangka dia boleh kena penyakit kulit macam ni especially because she is still a baby...

Nayra now @ 7 months..

June 2010..Nayra turned 7 months. Here's details on her progress & development :


- Weight : around 9.1kg (naik tak banyak dari 6 months dulu)
- Makan : Dah try macam2..usually she will have her biscuits for breakfast & porridge/pureed vegetables for lunch & fruit juice for hi-tea. Juice tu normally i use brand heinz yg dalam balang or buat sendiri..ni untuk mengelakkan sembelit
-Skil baru : Mengesot (menarik badan ke depan) dan duduk..yeahooo..dia dah boleh duduk dgn stabil. Merangkak belum lagi tapi dah start angkat2 punggung hehe
-Emotional development : Dah mula kenal org especially mama dia hehe and shows her affection by giving a small hug
- Sing along in her own way. I've been singing her nursery rhymes (Twinkle Little Star, Baa Baa Black Sheep, London Bridge etc) since she was born. Now whenever i sing her the songs, she would follow along but in her own baby way since the tunes are familiar to her ears. Same goes when i recite "La illa ha illallah" she would give the same response like the nursery rhymes. I usually recite it to get her to sleep.


So those are the little things my darling sweetheart has gained right now..i'm looking forward for many more skills, progress and development in her growing years..err months such as bila gigi dia nak tumbuh nie...heee

Family Outdoor Photoshoot - The Making

Setelah bertangguh dekat sebulan lebih, akhirnya my family jadi jugak buat outdoor photoshoot ni, sepatutnya on saturday (5 jun) tapi hujan tersangat lebat pulak di awal pagi, so move to sunday (6 jun)...it was tiring but fun at the same time, unfortunately mama & my siblings cannot make it on sunday kalau tidak sure lebih meriah....can't wait to see the end result insyaAllah by this friday (11 jun)..it's a great family experience, oh yeah btw the location is at Taman Tasik Shah Alam

Nayra walau pun penat & ngantok but still manage to enjoy herself berguling2 atas padang rumput tu..oh she's the main model by the way, siap tukar 3 persalinan!!
