Saat2 yang paling manis rasanya bila jalan2 berdua macam ni dgn si kecik gumuk ni... Bila ni? Alah..lepas survey tempat my stepsister nak kawin kat Galeri Shah Alam, i took the opportunity to let her take a walk along the Shah Alam lakeside...so here's the sweet moment i had with her at the park:

Meninjau Majlis Perkahwinan di Galeri Shah Alam

Macam biasa...dah lama dah cerita ni, baru nk tersiar dalam blog hehe..nk buat cemana tuan punye blog yang tak berapa tegar kan... Tapi nk share jugak sebab mana tau boleh berkongsi dgn bakal2 pengantin out there yg masih recce tempat nk buat kenduri kan....haaaa silalah tinjau Galeri Shah Alam dgn pemandangan yg sangat indah dan aman damai berdepan dengan tasik shah alam, kalau masih blur2...carilah Kompleks PKNS Shah Alam haaaa dekat2 situ ajer..opposite Plaza Alam Sentral, signbord pun banyak menghala ke situ Alkisahnya, my stepsister Sazilah dgn tunangnya Hezry yg cadang nk buat kat situ, so they invited my mom & i untuk pegi tengok2 tempat, terus ada kenduri pulak kat situ..cantikkkkk!!! Dah boleh imagine mcm mana suasana kenduri bulan November nanti....tetamu yg dah kenyang makan boleh la ronda2 tepi tasik pulak amik gmbr feel pengantin lama hehe...Disebabkan suasananya yg 'open air' so agak panas sikit la...tak rasa aircond tapi angin sempoi2 bahasa Langkah kanan kami haritu bila tuan punya caterer jemput kami makan sekali sebagai food testing, tersenyum lebar kami menerima undangan itu haha...wpun agak segan silu sebab kenduri org tak kenal tapi kami terima pelawaan tersebut...Nasi Minyak, Ayam Masak Merah, Daging Masak Hitam (superbbb!!!), Dalca, Ikan Masin & Sambal Belacan plus dessert yang pelbagai daripada tuan rumah disudahi dgn ayor kopi panas...tuan2 & puan2 boleh bayangkan betapa puasnya kami makan disebabkan perut yang dah berkeroncong lewat petang itu...tidak sempat lunch okeyyy...anyway syamariz difahamkan Sazilah tak bercadang nk amik caterer tu nanti, diorg masih mencari caterer lain...cuma venue ajer yg confirm...tema nanti pun kaler purple macam tuan punye kenduri yg kami terjah nih... Ok...sila lihat foto untuk membayangkan tempat tersebut haha...

Nayra terlebih sibuk nk check it out hehe...beg princess tu isi bekal makanan & minuman dia, mama dia cakap "sila bawa sendiri ok"...kijam tak Pelamin nun tinggi di atas stage...pengantin dijamin boleh menyaksikan panorama tasik yg sangat luas..agak2 ngantok tengah bersanding boleh tengok org kayak huhu..

ok..beginilah suasananya..ok tak?? ok lah kan...lain sikit daripada suasana buat kat dewan

bagai orang mengantok disorongkan toto hehe...kuih apam gula hangus ihsan tuan rumah sangat yummy, siap dapat doorgift lagi...amik gmbr pun mulut tengah mengunyah lagi sori hehe..

Francais Usahawan 1 Malaysia

Alahai citer macam dah lama tapi tak kira nak update jugak pasal nie...

I went with 2 other lecturers & 2 groups of students to MATRADE Convention Centre (MECC)on 9th March 2011 for the opening of Francais Usahawan Muda 1 Malaysia organized by PNS (Perbadanan Nasional Berhad) with several other agencies. It was actually held for 2 days but we only went on the first day.

There were forum on the successful franchise businesses, which were moderated by *surprised2* my senior during good old UUM days...Prof Madya Dr Amy Azhar, and panels from franchisors & franchisees of several well-known franchise brands (Smart Reader, Focus Point, House of Healin, Acting Coach & McDonald's). The overall emcee of the day was Nazrul Idrus, which people quickly relate to Sazzy Falak..yess folks, he's her hubby. It seems that his company was appointed to handle the whole affair..i guess so.

As i am very into this type of business (cuma duit ajer yang takde), the topic was very intrigued indeed. They discussed on the advantages of franchise, what it takes to become good franchisees, the opportunities and also their experiences in dealing with this business...its too long and complicated if i were to jot down everything here.

For those who are interested in becoming franchisees but short of financial resources, worry no more...PNS is offering 5 types of financing to those who are interested aka "Skim Biaya Francais". You need to have a "Sdn Bhd" company and ready to pay at least 10% of the whole franchise expenses.

To cut everything short, the trip was beneficial and worthwhile as:
1. I've never been to MECC before
2. I love going to franchise exhibitions or seminars
3. You get free brochures of the franchisors involved in the exhibition
4. Goodiebags & free lunch were given to the audience

Tryin Tutti Frutti

Yesterday my opismates kak zura & mek sue ajak2 ayam gi try tutti-frutti kat cawangan bukit jelutong (cawangan lain kat sek 13, OU and tah mana2 lagi hehe)....diorang berdua ni dah try the day before tapi nak makan lagi so i joined them to have a look (and taste) of what this tutti frutti is all about....ye la kalau brand lain cam Baskin Robbins ke, New Zealand Natural ke penah la dengar and try tapi yg ini belum lagi..

Since the day before, i read about this ice-cream in a blog (refer fillanie's blog) dan macam dah kecur2 air liur so bila ada ajakan ayam ni hahaha apa lagi terus pegi la jawabnya...try jgn tak try!

Haaaa...macam ni cara dia...konsepnya layan diri, amiklah sebanyak mana nak pun janji duit ada boleh bayar..beresss!! Lagi berat lagi mahal sebab dia akan timbang sebelum anda dibenarkan makan...

Step 1: Go to the machine and choose whatever flavour that u want...the flavours changes everyday...on that day among the flavours offered are RED VELVET, PEACH, BLUEBERRY, GREEN APPLE, VANILLA, CHOCOLATE. STRAWBERRY BANANA AND ORIGINAL

I chose (clockwise from the top) : RED VELVET, STRAWBERRY BANANA & BLUEBERRY...wpun penggemar perisa cekelat tegar tapi rasa macam tak masuk pulak kalau mix dgn perisa fruits yang lebih nie

Step 2 : Choose your favourite garnish to put on top of your ice-cream....ada fresh fruits macam anggur, kiwi, mangga, and dragonfruit, ada buah laici dalam tin tu, ada aksesoris cendol, marshmellow, cornflakes, kismis dan coklat biji2 macam M&Ms tu...

Step 3: Timbang dan bayar...guess how much i was charged???? RM19++....makan hingga titisan air liur terakhir hehehehe....

These were what all 3 of us had on that day...sapa tak penah try jgn tak try...obviously i think its kinda overprice, setakat nak cuba tu ok la...tak pun sebulan sekali hahaha...kalau duit banyak hari2 pun boleh...budak sekolah kat bukit jelutong pun boleh serbu kedai ni tau..tercabarnya hakuuu hehehehe..

Aksi Nayra @ 16 months

Asyik citer pasal Nayra jer kan...well what else that excites me more than this little chubby girl. Actually there are other stuffs that i wanna share but that other stuffs have got to wait cos this mom is crazy over her daughter right now...boleh kata angau tak hahaha...dah 16 bulan me is crazy and angau with this budak gumuk budak ticik budak masham hehehe...bagi can la kan..u ols dah merasa awal lagi huhuhu, me at the age of mid-thirties baru merasa ada anak sendiri haaaa cenggini la jadinya..angau tak sudah

Oh by the way...Nayra is now 16 months (1 March 2011). So far dia dah pandai apa eh..hmmm lets see:

• Dah faham sikit2 org cakap apa eg: "Do u want water/milk?", "Lets go and wash", "Take off ur clothes (before wash)", "Sit on the chair", "Get on the bed", "Wash ur hand/mouth", ....paling best dah faham arahan "Get ur shoes", "Please take the remote for mama" or "put down/put back"
• Kalau panggil abang dia "Shed!" Shed!" dia pun sibuk "Ditt..ditt" dgn suara kecik dia hahaha
• Kalau aeroplane lalu dia akan buat stail macam wa wa wa bulan hehe...sambil wa wa wa kat mulut pastu tunjuk aeroplane...sebabnya? aku yang ngajar..bulan takde waktu siang so ganti dgn aeroplane, pastu dia ingat pulak tu...dengar ajer bunyi aeroplane, wpun tak npk terus wawawa...tangan tunjuk luar
• Hmm....alamak apalagi eh..lupa lak...takpelah layan gambar aksi2 dia kat bawah nie

She loves cats so much..langsung tak takut, cats pulak yg takut dgn dia hahaha...sebabnya.....ada banyak cats kat umah, kat umah pengasuh dia pun sama gak...ni kat kedai mamak, nampak cats terus teruja gitewww

Haa nampak ni...kecik2 bergaya kemain, dah besar esok tatau la...ada gaya diva tak hahaha...

Ni aksi dia meniru cakap telipon..."uuuu", "uuuuu" bunyi dia, konon hellooo helloooo..sambil tangan kat telinga

Everyday is a "Sauna" day!!

Haaaaa..ni nak bagitau nie....dah setengah tahun kot diriku merana, di"sauna" secara paksa selama minimum 8 jam sehari, 5 kali seminggu...tak payah pegi spa buang toksin dalam badan....ni ha kat opis pun dah cukup!!!! U ols leh tahan tak kalau problem AIRCOND ROSAK setiap hari pegi keje???????????

Nasib baik kami pekerja gomen yang berdedikasi, sedia berkhidmat walau berpeluh2 ke**** setiap hari, mendidik anak bangsa & memartabatkan insitusi pendidikan tinggi tercinta serta berkebolehan "mengadaptasi" kepada persekitaran sekeliling macam IGUANA muahaha..huhuhuhu...

Sesungguhnya dah tak tertahan lagi wehhh..kepala dah naik migrain ni walau pun banyak dah toksin kuar..workload adalah sangat banyak, belum lagi dateline itu dan ini yang memerlukan kami berfikir secara kritis, bergerak pantas dan penuh daya inisiatif ....sesungguhnya kami merayu kepada pihak pengurusan tertinggi khususnya Puan A, Puan Z dan En. N untuk segera mengambil tindakan..... (eh diorang ni mana ada baca blog kopitiam nih kan)

ni lagi hebat...3 kipas terus..boleh dikatakan setiap meja ada kipas huhu..zaman sekarang ni payah nak tengok tau..eiiiii tension!!!! tolongggg...

A Walk with Nayra

One fine evening at a shopping mall....

since nayra has started walking around 3 months ago, it is so enjoyable to let her roam free in a wide space such as a shopping mall , which is not too crowded like at SP...i will let her walk, run, look at stuffs etc with me following a few feet behind...happy tengok dia cheerful jalan tanpa batasan chewahh

Nayra : "mama look..i found the original crocs"

Mama : "alamak kantoi hehehehe..."

alahh..budak kecikk..buat apa nak beli kasut mahal2 dulukan..rugi pakai kejap ajer : )




ye..ye..ajer minah kecik ni dok usha kasut crocs ori kat kedai tu...okla..okla..besday Nayra tahun nie mama belikan kay huhuhu...

haaaaaa....ni gambar dia merajuk sebab tak kasi naik escalator, sampai duduk2 kat lantai! Nayra ni pantang jumpa escalator....laju jer lari2 pegi situ....oh nooooo....jangan mengamuk guling2 kat lantai sudah la Nayra oiiii....

But anyway...this moment is sooo sweet & priceless!

Nayra & her beloved Paed

I have been postponing Nayra's 13 months injection for 2 months already...and now she has entered her 15 months of age...makin lama makin liat nak gi bawak anak injection...i know not good! not good!

Actually 13 months jap ni optional but since i have nothing to lose but a more healthier kid so what the heck...this is the last dose anyway (after 8 & 10 months), so we finally went to see Dr Roliza of DEMC (Nayra's beloved paed) on 12th Feb

Note : The compulsory jap started at 1 month, followed by 2,3,4,5 & 6 months...then 12 months...15 months...and so on as according to the schedule given by the hospital. In between, u can slot in the optional japs as i did..

Here's what Nayra had been up to on that day...

kemain sonok dapat jalan sendiri kat tempat luas camni...tapi mula2 dia jalan pelik, langkah pendek2...rupa-rupanya tiles lantai tu berkilat dia ingatkan basah hehehe...

Doc cakap kalau tengok carta, berat Nayra yang dah 12kg sekarang is at the max point already, if she gains another 500gm , she will be considered err..overweight already OMG OMG....i have to put her on diet!!!!

Red Velvet Cake recipe

I dunno why's the latest craze right now is....Red Velvet Cake! I once tasted the cake at Whisk Cafe (Empire Mall) and it was wayyyyyy too sweet for me. I can even taste the unsolven sugar in the cake...i haven't tasted the cake somewhere else though, hopefully i could find a better version of the cake so that i won't perceive negatively towards this lovely looking cake...btw found the recipe online and sajer nak share, hope i will find time soon to bake the cake myself! heeee....

Paula Deen’s Red Velvet Cupcakes recipe from here
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 tablespoons red food coloring
1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 (12-cup) muffin pans with cupcake papers. In a medium mixing bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. In a large bowl gently beat together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vinegar, and vanilla with a handheld electric mixer. Add the sifted dry ingredients to the wet and mix until smooth and thoroughly combined.
Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake tins about 2/3 filled. Bake in oven for about 20 to 22 minutes, turning the pans once, half way through. Test the cupcakes with a toothpick for doneness. Remove from oven and cool completely before frosting.
For the Cream Cheese Frosting
1 pound cream cheese, softened
2 sticks butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
Chopped pecans and fresh raspberries or strawberries, for garnish
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter and vanilla together until smooth. Add the sugar and on low speed, beat until incorporated. Increase the speed to high and mix until very light and fluffy.Garnish with chopped pecans, fresh raspberry or strawberry, or sprinkles
