Nayra & her beloved Paed

I have been postponing Nayra's 13 months injection for 2 months already...and now she has entered her 15 months of age...makin lama makin liat nak gi bawak anak injection...i know not good! not good!

Actually 13 months jap ni optional but since i have nothing to lose but a more healthier kid so what the heck...this is the last dose anyway (after 8 & 10 months), so we finally went to see Dr Roliza of DEMC (Nayra's beloved paed) on 12th Feb

Note : The compulsory jap started at 1 month, followed by 2,3,4,5 & 6 months...then 12 months...15 months...and so on as according to the schedule given by the hospital. In between, u can slot in the optional japs as i did..

Here's what Nayra had been up to on that day...

kemain sonok dapat jalan sendiri kat tempat luas camni...tapi mula2 dia jalan pelik, langkah pendek2...rupa-rupanya tiles lantai tu berkilat dia ingatkan basah hehehe...
main2 dulu sementara tunggu jumpa doc...sonok dapat jumpa ramai rakan sebaya

bergambar kenangan dengan Dr Roliza yang peramah, mesra & very very friendly...ok next appointment will be 2 months from now (16th April) which will fall 2 days after Dr Roliza's birthday...Nayra is thinking of giving her a cute card..hmmm why not Nayra, mama will help u buy the card tihihihi....

Doc cakap kalau tengok carta, berat Nayra yang dah 12kg sekarang is at the max point already, if she gains another 500gm , she will be considered err..overweight already OMG OMG....i have to put her on diet!!!!

Sakit gigi aaaa.....

I'm still dealing with health issues....last tuesday went for check-up, today pulak went to dentist to check on the dental pain i'm feeling for the last 3 days

I don't know for sure whether the pain is caused by my gum or tooth since it came from both areas....nak makan pun siksa, especially bila mengunyah, tak tahan lagi so today went to the dentist

Upon check-up, the dentist told me that i have one big ulcer under my tongue which causes the pain around the tooth nearby...she gave me medicines & mouthwash (as in the picture below) and ask me to come in a week time for scalling pulak...ohhh ok, as long as tak sakit lagi dah

Medical Check-up

Fuhhhh...after being such a scary cow for a long long time, finally i had my nerve to go do full-body screening cum medical check-up at a nearby An-Nisa' Clinic...

Itupun sebab last week pegi due to light but itchy coughing, then doc promoted to me about the special price they give for med-checkup (RM125) valid till end of month..terus mata i bersinar2

Acara memujuk hati pun berlaku secara diam2, then i finally decided that THIS IS THE TIME!!!
Sesuai dengan AZAM BARU 2011, semalam (25 Jan 2011) i pun pegi la...sehari awal dah isi borang keluar dah kat opis, so no prob masuk lambat skitt...alahh bukan selalu pun gi klinik

Pegi pagi pun dah ramai orang apalaaa..mostly ibu dan anak2..takpelah terhibur hati melihat gelagat diorg..especially this oneboy yg macam baya2 Nayra sikit..

Oklahh....after quite a long wait, my turn finally came. The check-ups were done as below:

1. Blood pressure
2. Pap Smear.......eh tak sakit ghopenyaaa...mende ni la paling ditakuti dulu
3. Breast check (manually)
4. Blood test...ouchhh....7 ml of my blood was sucked out
5. Urine test

Okehhh...resultnya will mostly come out by next week, or the doc said that they will call...till then, i am living nervously right now waiting for next week

Hope everything will be fine InsyaAllah..doakanlah ya...

as usual if u olls nak buat check-up kat klinik (or mana2lah), puasa dulu okehh...awal tahun adalah waktu yg paling sesuai nak buat cos time ni semangat tengah tinggi lagi : )

oh yaa...sambil sembang2 dgn doc R yg buat check-up tu, i found out that we shared the same gynae at DEMC, apparently she delivered her kids & do pap smears with Dr Norleen

Susu oh susu..

Syamariz memang ada problem dgn production susu badan since nayra's birth...BM (breast milk) cuma keluar hari ke-4, itu pun setelah diurut dan di stimulasikan menggunakan breastpump..tapi production memang sikit, ada la dalam 2 sudu besar kot..it's pathetic i know...jadinya nayra memang dah disuap dengan formula since hari pertama lagi..

Wpun production BM syamariz alahai sikit..tapi tak pernah mengalah ok..dapat jugak la 3 bulan wpun tak ekslusif, hari2 pam kat ofis sampai ofismate naik kesian tengok production dalam botol tu, dapat la dlm purata 2oz..cuba macam2 cara tapi tak jalan sampai akhirnya amik ubat doc, production boom 3-4oz tapi menjunam semula bila ubat dah abis..cukup 3 bulan nayra dah start muak bila BF (breastfeed) so syamariz stop pumping lelama susu kering sendiri..

As DEMC was using Frisolac brand at the time of nayra's birth, to make things easy, i just continued with the brand at home. Jadi nayra memang membesar dgn debabnya thanks to Frisolac. After a while, i got bored using the brand..actually i wanted to try Enfa brand because of the DHA factor..kandungan DHA dia memang jauh lebih tinggi dari Frisolac. At 8 months now, i think it is the right time to switch to other quality brand. Now i'm not saying that Frisolac is not quality, after all..my baby has no major problem when consuming it. Lebih kepada ingin mencuba sesuatu yang baru..

Nak tukar bcos nak try susu mahal, nak susu yang 4x kandungan DHA dan kurang lemak..Alhamdulillah, nayra has no problem tukar susu at 8 months. Syamariz dapati Enfapro A+ ni teksturnya lebih halus dan berdebu, tetapi tidak berbau macam Frisolac wpun susu dah terbiar lama, pasal rasa no komen sebab tak pernah rasa dua2 brand itu (eiii tak lalu heheh)..

Nayra kena Viral Infection

Nayra dah start demam since last wednesday, badan dia panas on-off..bagi ubat demam PCM cos no signs of cough/flu...i thought the pearly whites will appear soon (nak tumbuh gigi la), but i got the shock of my life..
Bintat2 macam ni appear hari ke-3 lepas demam..i was worried sick!! Memula ingatkan gigitan nyamuk, tapi dia naik satu badan..mula2 bulatan kecil, lepas tu membesar, lepas tu bersambung2 macam corak peta dunia..lepas tu penuh satu badan..i felt sooooo sorry for Nayra

Ni masa baru2 appear kat badan..


Ni pulak dah naik abis satu badan termasuk muka...
I brought Nayra to paedetrician's clinic at Sek 7, Shah Alam (Klinik Paedetrik Adek, belakang DEMC) on friday. The doctor said it's because of a bacteria/virus infection from the air...my mind was busy recalling where on earth did she catch the virus at that time, was it at Kedah when we 'balik kpg' for a kenduri, or was it from my MIL hse in Tg Malim cos it was sooo hot & humid there...or was it from the nanny's hse...or our home even????? huhuhuhu...kesiannya Nayra...
But the doctor said no worries, the fever will drop once the 'bintat' appears the whole body..the concept is like chicken pox but it's not....oh well, he gave antibiotics (Augmentin), allergic medicine (Zyrtec) & Callamine Cream and said it will take around 48 hrs for it to fade away. Balik rumah ajer, satu badan dia dilumurkan dgn callamine lotion (i used lotion type yg kat rumah sebab yg cream payah nak sapu)
And as i'm writing this (sunday nite), the face area is clear by this afternoon...the body's marks is clearing too..but it will take some time cos the marks cover almost the whole body, i am hoping by tomorrow morning there will be little marks left cos she will be sent to her nanny's hse as i would start working huhu...oh how i wish i could take as many days off as i would like, just to be with her especially when she's not well
Alhamdulillah...Nayra nampak macam on her way to recovery, syukur takde apa2 yg buruk..tak sangka dia boleh kena penyakit kulit macam ni especially because she is still a baby...

Do u take supplements?

Semakin meningkat usia, semakin banyak pulak cabaran dari segi nak maintain kesihatan..lepas bersalin ni, yang paling terasa sangat adalah stamina dah kurang serta pinggang sakit kalau buat kerja-kerja berat atau duduk terlalu lama..as i am also a coffee drinker, tahap kepadatan tulang juga merisaukan kerana kafein akan mencuri kalsium dari diserap dalam badan lantas terbuang bersama sisa buangan badan (this i know, but i can't stop myself huhu)

Jus Diet Mate 5

After i got married, i've ballooned up to 4-5 kilos..the weight had gradually increased to 60 kg as at Feb 2009, mind u i've never reach 60 kg before..my normal weight is around 55-56kg, so as compared to my height of 154cm, 60kg would definitely make me look "terlebih berisi" di sana sini...yang nyata kain baju kurung sudah terketat di bahagian perut huhuhu...

And so, i quickly make my way to find the solution...hasilnya Jus Diet Mate 5 (JDM5) seperti gambar di atas. Actually, memula nak try Herbalife tetapi memandangkan harganya RM3++ satu set (gulpp!!) so bertukar pulak ke JDM5 yang berharga RM200 sekotak (2o sachets). Kalau beli 3 kotak sekali gus, dapat harga RM150 sekotak. Memula nak try ni, syamariz try la yang murah dulu kan...

Rasanya sedap macam air oren Tangs dulu (saper ingat?) cuma kena letak banyak sikit air cos the taste is a little too sweet for my taste bud. Caranya minum sekali sehari. Nak minum tu kena 2 jam selepas makan. Lepas minum JDM5 pulak, tak boleh makan selama 3 jam. Ada 20 sachets sekotak so it can lasts for 20 days.

Pagi & tengahari makan macam biasa (kalau boleh cut half of the normal portion) then boleh minum JDM5 waktu petang (around 6-7pm)...mula2 minum memang rasa pedih2 perut sikit waktu malam, boleh makan light snack to ease the hunger pangs eg: biscuits.

Urinary Track Infection experience

Tak sangka ada yang nak tau my experience of having UTI (Urinary Track Infection/ Jangkitan Saluran Kencing) ......Ed, this is especially 4u hehe

Erkkkkkk....tak nak dah, tobatttttt......(mukadimah horror la konon)

It was a very traumatic experience i tell u...semenjak kawin nie dah 2x syamariz kena, latest awal bulan feb nie, ingatkan bila dah minum bergelen2 air kosong setiap hari ni, the chances are rare..rupanya tidak jugak

It all started with the tingling feeling around your bladder area and also at the calf area....rasa senak sangat kat area ari2 tu, sampaikan betis pun terasa lenguh...ni berlaku pada malam hari then macam dah stop sendiri..legaaaa (but not for long)

Tup!tup! esoknya after bfast kat opis, gi toilet dah rasa semacam dah...buang air tapi rasa tak puas, 10 minutes after that terasa lagi tapi nothing came out...bahagian ari2 tu dah mula rasa sakit macam menyucuk2, betis dah terasa sengal sangat2..duduk dah serba tak kena, kalau orang tengok muka syamariz time tu sure ingat sembelit ke hapa hehe...macam orang nak demam pun ada

Disebabkan dah tak tertahan lagi menjeruk rasa kat opis tu, syamariz terus cabuttt gi klinik...dalam tempoh masa nak sampai klinik tu rasa macam nak melayang keta dibuatnya, nasib baik takdak polis trafik, sampai kat klinik pun masih terasa nak **sheeshee** lagi..but it got worse..kalini rasa macam nak terbakar, pijarnya Tuhan saje yang tahu...nak menjerit dah kat toilet klinik tu, tapi kang orang ingat apa pulak kan...Ditakdirkan ada la 2 org lagi nak jumpa tuan doktor tu, terpaksa la syamariz menjeruk rasa lagi kat tempat menunggu ...duduk pun dah macam takde tulang belakang dah, kejap terbongkok ke kiri kejap ke kanan...airmata pun rasa murah ajer nak mengalir...

Ok..dah jumpa doktor, senang ajer dia jawab "errr..perkara ni memang biasa berlaku kat pompuan yang dah kawin" laaa...tu jer?? hmmmm i wonder why some married woman have never experience this kind of pain, as far as i know la.....Nasihatnya, dia suh minum air banyak2, air barli pun bagus cos boleh melawaskan kenc***, dan makan ubat..dia bagi 3 jenis ubat :

1. Antibiotic
2. Ubat Tahan Sakit
3. Ubat Lawas Kenc***

Lepas makan ubat, baring...badan rasa macam nak demam dan area ari2 masih terasa sakit, bergelen2 air diteguk nak bagi cepat2 baik, tapi bila dah banyak minum semakin kerap ler ke toilet, adoiiiiiiiii hua hua hua....kalini bukan rasa pijar dah, rasa macam nak meletup pundi kenc*** kat dalam tu, 3 jam lepas tu baru terasa kembali normal...aduhhh terasa syukur sangat dengan nikmat kesihatan yang diberikan olehNya...esoknya terus syamariz MC, rehat puas2 hehe..err ada saper2 yang nak share tak UTI experience nie, sangatlah dialu2kan..

Moralnya :

1. Minum banyak air untuk kesihatan (esp cuaca tengah panas giler skrg)
2. Jangan tahan kenc*** sebab akan berlaku pengumpulan toksin
3. Minum air barli sangat bagus untuk pelawasan kenc***
4. Walaupun dah buat itu semua, tapi masih terkena jugak UTI, redhalah dengan ujian dariNya haha..

Strawberry craving..



Hmmm..... duduk kat Shah Alam ni memang banyak dugaan, dugaan untuk mengabihkan duit.....penuh dengan shopping complex/hypermarket yang sumernya dekat2 ajer..ada Giant, Tesco, Tesco Extra, PKNS, SACC Mall, Alam Sentral, Shah Alam Mall & Subang Parade..
Jalan2 kat Tesco Extra haritu, tak semena2 nampak strawberries..tiba2 datang keinginan nak makan yang teramat, kecur air liur....baru tersedar dah lama tak makan rupanya..last pegi Cameron Highlands pun tahun 2003, honeymoon zaman dulu2...then ada la jugak makan sikit2 kalau ada buffet kat hotel..
So nak jadi citer beli la sekotak..makan sepuas2nya...so sekelip mata strawberries seperti gambar di atas terus hilang dari pandangan...kat bawah nie sajer nak share the goodness of strawberries...have fun!

Nak2 pulak menu diet yang the very the complicated, malah lebih mahal dari menu2 yang biasa kita ambik..not to mention that Atkins diet, or the whatsoever diet that hollywood celebrities are doing..yeahhh easy for them, having thier own nutritionist & personal trainer...errr...as for me, i still have that cholesterol issue to battle and seeing things now, i'm sure i'm gonna fail miserably..with all the eating plus coffee...better start analyzing the above steps NOW!!!
